Taking the information from an old book to publish on a blog and claims that theirs is illegal or what?
I read a blog and the person provides clearly to take the information from an old book (no doubt pre-1978 and therefore the copyright is different), and claim this information as theirs. Also do with old magazines, scan photos and put your name on the photos. It seems totally unacceptable to me, I think even if you have something that still must give credit to author / writer / photographer tried to go to the website of copyright, and do not have much of their information.
solo show clearly they are taking information from an old book (certainly before 1978 and therefore the copyright is different) and say that this information as their own. clearly the source, that information is not intended for them. That said, all that the state is considered plagerism and is illegal.
