What is the best way to get a job in journalism?
I graduated in journalism from the University of Alabama, in August 2008. I was spinning my wheels in Mobile, Alabama, hoping for something to put our local newspaper or in one of several local magazines. Almost a year and a half later, I'm still waiting tables. I hate when I have to move (although I prefer Chicago, Boston, Orlando, Miami, Atlanta), or when I work. I just want to start doing what I have paid a large amount of money to do it is to observe, analyze and write. I have not been able to work in my school every day because I worked 50 hours per week in the restaurant.
