Hot Gear – online magazine for car fans
Hot Gear is a doXtop based car magazine made exclusively by fans as a reflection of their passion for the world of automobiles, supercars, motorsport and everything else related to car industry. Created by doXtop member hammond, this is a place where petrol heads exchange opinions and passion for the world of hot and fast metal on wheels.. The magazine membership is free and contributions are most welcome.
This magazine is filled with dozens of documents rich in in text, information and photos in variety of formats all seamlessly transformed by doXtop technology into HTML, Hypertext, XHTML, PDF, Flash etc. – according to your preference and needs.
The magazine is divided into several categories, including news, market, motorsport, technology, tuning and history, each being regularly updated with new entries. You can explore these categories and documents from within in details using clever Table of contents (TOC). For example, in the news section you can read in details about the new Porsche GT3, one of the hottest two-seaters of the year. The GT3 story is very well illustrated and this is where the full screen option comes in quite handy.
The news section features a story from the latest Detroit Motor Show. We all know how difficult time this is for the entire car industry, but here you can read what is it that the ailing industry has to offer in the nearest future. There are lots of fuel efficient and green cars coming on, but also those from the luxury department.
The latest addition is a fantastic overview of Michael Schumacher`s Formula 1 career from 1996 to 2006, with respect to his return to the track.
Also, in the Dream cars section, you will find illustrated stories about the Ferrari P4, an Aston Martin worth a million and a Lambo Reventon. For those of you with extra cash in your pockets, take a look at the complete Mercedes Benz 2009 cars catalogue in the Market section.
If you already own a car of your dreams, don`t think for a moment it`s the end of the road for you. In this magazine`s tuning section you can read about ways to improve your car`s performance by enhancing its power through chip-tuning or by adding it an aero-dynamic package. So far, this category is featuring documents about tuning Ferrari F430 as well as Porsche 997 Turbo.
Those who are more tech oriented will find their satisfaction reading in details about the acclaimed VW`s dual clutch gearbox in the Technology section.
The history section is recently refreshed with interesting documents about the small cars legend – Peugeot 2005 GTI and another all time ultimate racer – Ferrari Deytona and its 40th anniversary. Also, in the Dream cars section, you will find illustrated stories about the Ferrari P4, an Aston Martin worth a million and a Lambo Reventon.
