Barbell bench press using plastic boxes filled with magazines as the bench?
I cant fit a bench in my room so i am using a makeshift bench. 3 plastic boxes filled with magazines that are about a foot off the ground. good or bad idea?
Personally I would only use a weight that I’m comfortable lifting if I was using a bench substitute, in the same way that I wouldn’t lift a weight that I wasn’t comfortable with without a spotter.
Generally though, bad idea.
