My Yahoo homepage has a Verizon Wireless logo on it, but Comcast is my ISP. Have I been hacked or phished?
This just happened this morning, on my desktop computer at home. The logo is on the browser header and in the address bar, only when I am at Yahoo. My browser is Internet Explorer 7; my OS is Windows XP Service Pack 2. I have a Zone Alarm firewall, and Norton Security. I did allow my computer to be accessed remotely, just last night, but only my laptop’s IP address is allowed through the firewall.
Just a marketing ploy. Nothing bad, but I do suggest upgrading to Windows XP SP3 through microsoft update.
