What are copyright laws on using a company’s logo for a sticker?
Me and a friend are thinking about starting a sticker company and were wondering what the laws were on using another company’s logo for a sticker. Such as the Monster Energy Drink logo and selling it online and such. Do I have to get a waver or something of that sort?
You have to get written permission to use a trademarked logo.
For a company like Monster Energy Drink, it is doubtful they would give you permission for free. Instead they would want to create a licensing agreement which means you pay them money and they give you permission to use their logo.
