Need to know a few things about Adobe Illustrator CS4?
I have a project due to my computer arts class on Thursday. I’m almost done but I do need help on the last few things. We designed a logo and for the last part he wants us to turn it into 4.5×4.5 in and1.1×1.1in. in color, and 4.5×4.5 and 1.1×1.1in in black and white. I do not know how to work the rulers, so if anyone can explain how to do this or have a link to a tutorial that would be great. Also, how do I turn my color logo into black and white using illustrator?
Your instructor wants you to redraw the logo into a black and white version. It’s usually not just a matter of going into the color pallet and changing your drawing into greyscale… that would be way too easy.
If you only had a black ink pen and had to make a version of you logo…. what line work to keep, which colors to make solid black and which to change to white…maybe use some different line weights to enhance the logo to bring out the same character as your color version.
