besides photoshop what free image editor is good for putting your name and making logos and stuff, thanks?
i need to make a logo on myspace so people wont steel pictures that i want to make so anyone know what system (free system) i can make like collages on? thaks again
A dedicated thief is going to get what s/he wants regardless of a logo. Logos aren’t to prevent theft, they’re to establish a recognizable symbol so that other people may recognize at a glance your organization.
Photoshop is fine for a logo if all you’re going to use it for is online stuff. If you’re making collages of photos–or elements of photos–Photoshop is probably your best bet anyway.
Why are you asking for FREE software if you’re already using Photoshop? Photoshop isn’t exactly free either, you know…
try http://www.inkscape.org/ for an open-source, freely downloadble vector art program. I haven’t used it myself (because I have easy access to Illustrator) but I’ve heard that it is halfway decent.
